Dr. Jennifer Vasquez Tamez graduated from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi and has been working in health care for over 22 years. Dr. Tamez was inspired to pursue a career in medicine and with unwavering determination, she embarked on a journey that would shape her into the healthcare professional she is today. After completing her Doctor of Nursing Degree, Dr. Tamez had the privilege of working for different primary care clinics and urgent cares, where she honed her skills and expertise in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. From managing acute illnesses to providing comprehensive primary care, she embraced every challenge with open arms, constantly seeking ways to improve patient outcomes and enhance their overall well-being. Dr. Tamez currently works for an Infectious Disease Specialist in Corpus Christi, Texas where she continues to provide exceptional patient care. In addition to Dr. Tamez's clinical work, she was deeply passionate about education and mentorship and decided to become an instructor for Del Mar's College of Nursing. As a college nursing clinical instructor, Dr. Tamez’s goal was to empower the next generation of healthcare heroes with the knowledge, skills, and passion they need to make a lasting difference.
What sets Dr. Tamez apart as a nurse practitioner is her unwavering commitment to patient-centered care. Dr. Tamez firmly believed that healthcare should be a collaborative effort, where patients actively participate in their own health journey. Throughout Dr. Tamez's career, she witnessed firsthand the transformative power of holistic care and strived to empower individuals to take charge of their health and make informed decisions. Dr. Tamez now works closely with patients to understand their skincare
concerns and tailor personalized treatment plans to achieve their desired results. Dr. Tamez firmly believes that everyone deserves to feel confident and beautiful in their own skin, and it is her mission to help her patients achieve this. Coastal Spa MD is passionate about delivering natural-looking
results and ensuring that patients feel comfortable in their post-treatment appearance. When Dr. Tamez is not in her scrubs and wearing a stethoscope, you can find her channeling her creative energy into one of her newest hobbies, sewing.

Skylar graduated from Texas A&M Corpus Christi University with a Bachelor in Nursing and has 13 years of health care experience. Skylar began her career as a cardiac intensive care unit nurse. Skylar found great success and fulfillment in the fast-paced world of healthcare, where she gained invaluable experience as a medical professional. However, it was in the realm of aesthetics where she discovered her true passion. Drawn to the artistry and creativity of the field, Skylar dedicated herself to mastering the latest techniques and technologies to help her patients achieve their desired aesthetic goals.
With her expertise and unwavering commitment to patient care, Skylar has become a highly respected and sought-after aesthetic professional. Blending her medical background with a keen understanding of beauty, Skylar has become a trailblazer in the field. Introducing the embodiment of passion and intellect, meet Jaselle Tamez, a former valedictorian who has recently blossomed into a remarkable registered nurse. With an insatiable thirst for knowledge and an unwavering commitment to excellence, Jaselle devoured every textbook, research paper, and medical journal available, leaving no stone unturned in her quest for mastery and graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi with the highest distinction of Summa Cum Laude. But Jaselle’s journey doesn't stop there! Forever committed to self-improvement and staying ahead of the curve, this visionary nurse is constantly seeking to expand her skillset. She is one of the first Registered Nurses in Texas to be certified in inserting Hormone Pellets! In addition, she will be continuing her education at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi to achieve her Master of Science in Nursing degree to follow in her mother's footsteps as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
